Forum Title: OOPS
Went out to do a roof inspection yesterday. Roof is shot, CertainTeed Horizons, 15 years old. I was looking at it for a potential buyer. So I had to go into the attic to check a couple of things. I crawled along a series of boards to get into another section of the roof. As I was coming back one of the boards snapped. Wham!, my knees go right through the ceiling and dropped a chunk of dry'all and insulation into the bathroom sink. That pisses me off. So I will have done this inspection for nothing and will have to get the ceiling repaired. The buyer said he would pay for it but It's still a pain the rear. The homeowner was cool, but I felt really bad about it. Turns out the board was a piece of particle board, the rest were 1◊6 pine boards. It could have been worse but It'sure put a damper on the day.
